[Contest] I Am The Unstoppable Explorer

As per the title, I call myself an unstoppable explorer and you'll know why after reading this post :)

There are too many unknown areas in this world, awaiting for us to explore.

Food, nature, technology, sports and so on but on top of these, I chose to venture into the world of fashion and beauty.

I'm definitely not the guru in this sector as I'm still on my way to improve; not only on my appearance (beauty) but also my fashion sense (fashion). That's why I call myself an explorer, I'm still exploring the wonder of fashion and beauty with my humble heart.

Now I'm gonna show you the the history of my exploring path (basically the history of my growth la =__=)

 This was me in year 2009.

The only makeup I knew was uhm...sunblock?

Not to mention my messy hair. 

 This one better la, at least the hair was neat and hey, I know how to apply lipstick hahaha (why sound so pathetic)

But my eyes still small -________- 

 This one a bit shocking lol.

What is the thing on my head?

And the grey eye shadow made me look dirty.

 Time flies.

 Last year was definitely better xDD

I know what hairstyle and makeup suits me.

This year is even better :D

I learned how to wear contact lens, fake lashes and put on appropriate accessories. 

 

 Also I think my fashion senses have a great leap, right？

Finally I sort out the makeup and outfits that suit me. 

I always believe that there are no ugly girls, only lazy girls in the world.

Flipping my old photos makes me feel so grateful for being an unstoppable explorer in fashion and beauty. Otherwise, I'd have remained the same ugly girl :x

So what's my unstoppable explorer characteristics?
1) Keep trying
Do not be afraid to try out new things. The most terrible result is probably you find that thing does not go well on you. On a brighter side, you figure out which things suit you well and which things don't. Then you would stop making mistake next time.
For eg, I realized double eyelid sticker does not suit me as I have thick eyelid fat.

2) Wild Imagination 
When I see a bag, my mind would come out with a pair of shoes that can match well with it.
When I see a black maxi dress, I'd thought of red sexy lips to bring out the elegant look.
I always let my imagination go wild, and blossom. 

3) Practise makes perfect  
  To make a successful explorer, you can't just search for inspiration but not practise it in real life.
Hence I would always practise to mix and match my outfits and makeup so that I would never go wrong.

Now, you might wonder, do I faced any challenge in my adventure?
Yes. In fact, it is very recent.
 I was the make up artist for my BFFs for a prom night.
 Being a beauty explorer does not mean I only know how to style up myself, but others as well.
 I have very limited time to makeup for 6 of them @@
Each of them possess a special feature and I can't use the same makeup for everyone.

 Luckily I tested before the prom night and thus I successfully completed this task!
My friend's friend even asked her to introduce her stylist (ahem, me) to her so that she can find me for makeup next time.
What a pleasure :)

I can't succeed in exploring fashion and beauty without my essential gadget, my camera and my tablet.

I use tablet to browse through fashion bloggers page like Cheesie and Chuckei, and also Lookbook to gain inspiration.

Besides, my camera never fail to capture my entire outfit so that I can tell from my picture whether my style is nice.

Astro-On-The-Go lets me catch the latest news and dramas on my handheld devices, anytime, anywhere at my convenience.
I can observe the latest Korean makeup in the korean dramas and their outfits are love!
While I'm in the dilemma of what to wear today, I can simply use my tablet to watch the korean dramas and dress like the cute actress!
Even when I'm having exam and no time to explore, I can absorb the latest trend by watching the fashion programmes on my tablet.

但是有你这种想法的人

我们就已经未战先败了
败给自己那颗冷漠的心

说真的我可以接受你没有登记
但更令我打从心底失望的
是你那个无所谓的态度
好像国家的兴或亡跟你一点关系也没有
你比旁观者还要无动于衷

已经登记成为选民的
竟然因为交通阻塞
这个最烂的借口
不能回来投票
我心痛
因为我看到很多国民
不辞劳苦地从新加坡，台湾，甚至是更远
赶回来投票

恐怕阻塞的不是交通
是你那颗”少你一票也无所谓“的心态

如果每个有资格的人都已经登记为选民

我想人数应该会多过这些人

 但是现在

我们竟然有可能交给外劳来决定我们国家的未来

“他们到底凭什么？”

如果你会问这个问题

就问问你自己

你到底凭什么不回来投票？

对于那些来不及登记的朋友
很庆幸的是我听到一些后悔的声音
下次记得登记

我曾经讨厌黑暗的政治
我曾经埋怨不公平的制度
现在我停止坐着埋怨

明天

[Review] Yadah Collagen Ampoule

Before I start, I have to apologize because this post is too out-dated. I'm suppose to blog about this two months ago but I drag until now...

Please pardon me for I have a valid reason.

Skincare is an important routine, so I want to see the effect before sharing. 

The effect can't be seen in a short time, that's why I choose to share after using it for two months++, and almost finish the whole bottle.

 

I was invited to YADAH's launching event @ Sasa Bangsar Shopping Centre.

 

If you're wondering what's Yadah, it's the name of the energetic girl in the picture.

Yadah basically stands for  Young Adult with Determination to Achieve Happiness.

 

Yadah is a Korean brand specially formulated for young adults which emphasizes on natural ingredients. They use natural plant extracts like essential oils, floral water etc.

All the ingredients are free from artificial colouring and preservatives.

I love how creative the Koreans invented this girl and bring along the consumers into their adventurous story.

How cool, isn't it?

 I got this full size collagen ampoule.

I have to admit I was not keen on its effect because I think I'm still young, why should I apply collagen?

But then Yadah proved me wrong. 

 

 Other products. I'd review them in a separate post.

 What's your first impression towards collagen product?
Mine is definitely a big No.
Sticky, oily and greasy.

 But Yadah's collagen ampoule completely overturned my thought.

 The texture is light and watery.

 It contains deep sea marine collagen which can penetrate deep into the epidermis to activate collagen synthesis and helps repair damaged cells, enhance skin elasticity and firmness.

The correct step to apply ampoule is after toner.

You're free to apply serum after this. It is completely fine because this ampoule does not burden your skin.

I would use serum to enhance because I kiasu lol

 

  After using it for two months, I'm totally in love with this product and it becomes a must in my skincare routine.

 My skin has noticeable change in these two months.

It becomes more firm and I can sense it's more elastic.

Who say young girl does not need collagen?

I heard some of my peers drink collagen but I know collagen drink is way too pricey.

[Review] Timeless Truth Instantneous Brightening Cooling Mask

 Today I'm going to review this awesome mask.

Instead of bombarding you with fancy words, I'd let the pics do the talking.

 

This was my skin condition before applying mask.

I just came back from swimming and the cruel sun turned me into a dark girl.

Seriously I think I look like shit here.

Dull and uneven skin tone. 

Even my red acne also so obvious.

Now let's take out the mask

This mask comes in two layers.

You're supposed apply the softer layer onto your face, and then remove the harder layer.

Pamper yourself with this cooling mask for 15 mins.

The name of the mask depicts it well.

When I say cooling mask, it's really cool.

Just nice to combat the heat :)

After 15 mins, tadah! (btw I hope this pic doesn't scare you lol)

Do you notice the instant brightening magic that was cast on my skin?

My skin absorbed the serum well and the radiant is beyond words.

When you have moist skin, your skin will look better with makeup and your makeup will last.

This was how I look after applying makeup and my makeup stayed for very long time.

Gentle reminder:

1) Don't leave the mask on face for too long (exceed 30 mins is considered too long) or else the mask will absorb the moist on your face.

2) Remember to massage the serum after applying the mask coz TT mask has abundant of serum. I even used it on my body.

[Rants] Screw project paper

I should be doing my project paper (just call it thesis la if you dunno what it is) right now.

I should be venturing into the technical terms of competition law right now.
But I feel so lost.

I know complaining ain't solve the matter so I try to keep it to myself.

只要够便宜大碗这样

通常我都把食物归类成好吃and不好吃而已 =_=

好啦我其实没资格 （哭跑）

面包冷了我勉强吃

能把hot dog煮成不好吃

也算是难得

又或者是我吃不惯？

很大份但是很没有记忆点的Fish and Chips （总算有一盘我记得确实名字了xDD)

没什么特别

一个人要RM25++

我觉得不是很值得

因为食物真得还好

服务也普通

叫了白开水要一直提醒他才送来

我最满意的应该是它那晕黄的灯光
